Abby is the main accountant for Builders Vision Foundation and its related entities, as well as the Builders Bridge. She acts as a nonprofit and investment accountant depending on the day.
Abby earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting at Saint Louis University. Shortly after, she earned her CPA certification and began her career at EY, where she worked in nonfinancial reporting, assurance, auditing, sustainability reports and advising some of America’s largest corporations on how to improve their greenhouse gas accounting and reporting. From there, she moved into the financial industry, where she worked at GCM Grosvenor and Neuberger Berman, with a focus on creating ESG investment strategies and building carbon net-zero investment portfolios. Abby also has extensive engagement and stewardship experience and has advised anywhere from small fund managers to Fortune 10 companies on how to create lasting and sustainable impact.
When not at work, Abby can be found searching for the best cake slice in the city (jury is still out) or at home reading a book with her beloved cat, Socks.
