Bruce Hao is the Managing Director on the Investments Team and leads strategic initiatives spanning the energy transition value chain — from cleantech innovation and grid modernization to renewable asset deployment at scale. He also collaborates closely with colleagues at Builders Vision and across the industry to identify ways for achieving energy transition and climate initiatives beyond investing.
Previously, Bruce was a Senior Product Manager on Intuit’s Capital and Payments businesses and helped to rapidly stand up and scale each business. Prior to that, Bruce was a Senior Director at Capricorn Investment Group and an Investment Associate at KKR.
Bruce earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA as a Palmer Scholar from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys snowboarding and making cool stuff.
