Charlotte Spaeth specializes in crafting compelling messages, managing media relations and conducting public policy research to help organizations tell their stories effectively and maximize impact.
Prior to joining Builders Vision, Charlotte spent four years at Avoq, a national strategic communications agency, where she supported clients across energy, nonprofit, professional services and higher education sectors. In this role, she specialized in building integrated communications campaigns, providing public affairs counsel and securing high-profile media placements to advance her client’s strategic goals.
Before joining Avoq, Charlotte was a member of The Chicago Community Trust’s communications team. There, she focused on amplifying stories around The Trust’s strategic goal of closing the wealth gap in Chicago, spotlighting community leaders and translating complex policy initiatives into compelling narratives. Originally from Atlanta, Charlotte earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder before moving to Chicago to complete her Master’s in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods and taking her dog for long walks along the lakefront trail.
