As an Investment Associate, Katherine leverages long-standing climate investing expertise with a strong grounding in corporate strategy to support high-potential startups and fund managers advancing ocean health and adjacent industries at Builders Vision. Katherine is driven by a singular focus: accelerating climate solutions to achieve outsized impact at speed. Prior to joining Builders Vision, she spent upwards of four years deeply embedded in climate investing and innovation.
Most recently, she was an Associate at Powerhouse, where she sourced and diligenced late-stage cleantech investment opportunities for institutional and strategic clients, including Google, NextEra Energy, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and The Rockefeller Foundation.
Before that, Katherine was an Investment Associate at Plug and Play Venture Capital, where she helped build the firm’s climate tech portfolio, closing 10 investments during her tenure and consulting for corporate partners like PepsiCo, Westlake Chemical, CRH, Owens Corning and SIG in developing climate-focused investment theses.
Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Earth Systems Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy from Stanford University. She is the Founding Co-President of Stanford Alumni in Climate Tech and a Founding Member of the Climate Positive Investing Alliance. Outside of work, Katherine enjoys diving, hiking, reading, tackling the New York Times crossword and planning her next surf trip.
