On October 24, 2023, Builders Vision teamed up with Kirkland & Ellis to host its annual convening, Advising for Change: How Legal Teams Can Drive Impact. The event brought together family office attorneys and was all about empowering legal teams to drive impact within their organizations.
This year, we welcomed more than 75 attendees from family offices across the country. We hosted seven panels and two breakout sessions throughout the day featuring Builders Vision team members, partners, and peers.
From an update on anti-ESG sentiment, to guidelines for using lobbying and advocacy as an impact tool, to an exploration of investing and giving through a racial lens following the Supreme Court’s affirmative action decision, we had a jam-packed schedule. The result was an inspiring event with other attorneys who share our passion and commitment to learning and impact and a strong call-to-action for others to lean into this work.
