Cristin leads investment strategies to scale regenerative agriculture and blue food systems, driving sustainable solutions through flexible capital. As a Vice President, Investments at Builders Bridge, Cristin leads the Food & Agriculture portfolio with a mission to improve land and ocean health. She manages a flexible investment mandate, deploying capital across emerging fund managers, accelerators, and direct company investments to catalyze change within regenerative agriculture and aquatic food systems.
Cristin’s professional background integrates venture capital, operating, and financial experience. Prior to joining Builders Vision, she was a Director at TechNexus Venture Collaborative, leading investment strategy in collaboration with Fortune 500 corporations across marine, clean tech, and industrial sectors. Cristin was also an early employee at Home Chef, where she worked on the strategic finance team through the company’s merger with Kroger. She began her career in investment banking at Robert W. Baird, focusing on industrial M&A.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Cristin co-founded the student-run microlending non-profit JIFFI and currently serves on the Venture Builders Committee for the university’s IDEA Center. She is active in the Chicago food and impact community, serving on the Associate Board for Naturally Chicago and as an Advisory Board member for Chicago:Blend.
Originally from Florida, Cristin’s interest in ocean health was shaped by formative experiences at Mote Marine Aquarium and years of competitive rowing. She is now based in Chicago, where she enjoys cooking with friends and family and spending time along the lakefront trail.
