George Dallas leverages his deep operational and philanthropic experience to strengthen internal processes and systems, support partners, and advance high-impact grantmaking initiatives.
Prior to joining Builders Vision, George spent seven years at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation as a program associate on the ocean initiative. In this role, he was instrumental in supporting grantmaking operations and strategy implementation, focusing specifically on global seafood markets and Japan marine strategies. George began his career as an Administrative Assistant at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in French from Virginia Tech. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, George developed a strong passion for nature, the ocean, and outdoor adventure during the decade he spent in the Bay Area. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, finding new vinyl records, and adventuring through the world’s natural spaces.
