Jennifer Pryce is President and CEO of Calvert Impact, a pioneering global impact investment firm that helps all types of investors and financial professionals invest in solutions that benefit people and the planet.
Over the past fifteen years, Jenn has anchored Calvert Impact’s strategy around a central conviction: that capital markets must be deliberately harnessed to address social and environmental challenges.
She has evolved the organization into a multi-product platform that delivers a range of capital solutions to advance economic opportunity and environmental sustainability.
Under her leadership, Calvert has more than tripled the size of its flagship fixed-income product, the Community Investment Note, and launched two new products: the Cut Carbon Note, an asset-backed security driving building decarbonization, and the Mission Driven Bank Fund, a growth capital fund for Minority Depository Institutions (MDI) and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) banks focused serving lower-wealth communities throughout the US.
Jenn has been outspoken about the need for investors to go beyond investing for impact and focus on creating, expanding, and transforming markets to solve our most urgent shared challenges. She has positioned Calvert as an industry-wide leader on innovation, sustainability, and scaling with integrity.
Before joining Calvert Impact: Jenn began her career in the Peace Corps before working for Neuberger Berman, the investment banking team in Morgan Stanley’s London office, and Nonprofit Finance Fund, a Community Development Financial Institution. Jenn studied engineering at Union College and holds an MBA from Columbia University. Jenn serves as Chair of the UNICEF USA Impact Fund for Children board and a member of the Advisory Board of Redwheel. She also serves as a lecturer at Oxford Saïd School of Business and was named to the Forbes “50 over 50” list of women in investment.
