Katie Scott specializes in corporate governance and complex legal operations for high-pressure organizations. She has over ten years of experience supporting high-functioning legal teams. Prior to joining Builders Vision, Katie served as a key legal operations liaison at Amcor. In this role, she acted as a central point of contact for internal legal processes, including whistleblower investigations, litigation coordination, and KYC documentation, while providing executive support to the General Counsel.
Katie’s professional foundation was built through paralegal positions at Komatsu, a heavy equipment company and Grainger, a local MRO Distributor based in Lake Forest, Illinois. During this time, she took the lead on entity management for a portfolio of over 160 entities, played a vital role in the closing of M&A and finance transactions, and contributed to the precision of SEC reporting processes.
Katie holds a BS in Political Science and History from Illinois State University and earned her Paralegal Certificate from the College of Lake County. She is also a commissioned Notary Public.
Outside of work, Katie can be found enjoying the energy of a live concert or spending quality time with her two favorite companions, her corgi, Gibbs and her husband.
