Rob integrates a foundation in agricultural science with multi-asset class investment expertise to design fit-for-purpose capital solutions that enable innovators and foster a more resilient agricultural system.
Prior to Builder’s Vision, Rob held a diverse set of positions across the agricultural investment sector. Most recently, he was an Investment Associate for Equilibrium Capital’s Controlled Environment Foods Funds, focusing on private equity and real asset investments in the fresh produce and aquaculture sectors. Prior to this, Rob served as an Analyst at MetLife Agricultural Finance, supporting senior leadership within the portfolio management and risk analytics groups.
Rob graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Agricultural Science, where he explored research, education, and business in agriculture. Rob’s career in agriculture began in 2014 as a summer associate for Solutions in the Land, LLC, a production agriculture sustainability consultancy in Illinois. Rob’s passion for agriculture is deeply personal, rooted in his family’s long-standing connection to Iowa and a lifelong interest in the natural world.
In addition to his professional work, Rob serves on the board of The Brenton Arboretum, a nonprofit located in Dallas Center, Iowa. Now based in San Francisco, Rob can be found being active (rock climbing is a personal favorite), reading, or enjoying the company of friends and family in his free time.
