Scott Wozencraft is Senior Associate, Impact Investments, on the Builders Vision Investment Team. He focuses on researching, evaluating, and executing new investments and supporting BI’s portfolio companies and fund managers. Before joining Builders Vision, Scott completed graduate school at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. He interned with the Builders Initiative Investment Team during his graduate studies, supporting their energy and ocean impact portfolios while in his second year.
Prior to graduate school, he worked at a social impact startup, NowPow, supporting some of their largest project implementations for leading health systems and social service agencies. He also has experience in direct service nonprofits, foundations, and environmental policy/advocacy. In 2025, he received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Colorado College. Outside of work, you can find him running through Chicago parks and swimming in Lake Michigan.
