Wilson is a Senior Investment Associate at Builders Vision. He brings deep sustainable agriculture and investment experience to back entrepreneurs building more resilient and regenerative food systems.
Before Builders Vision, Wilson spent six years as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in sustainable agriculture. He partnered with startups and corporates across the food value chain to design and launch sustainable businesses. He advised on product-market-fit, growth, operational excellence, and climate resilience. Building businesses from the ground up alongside founders and operators drew him to investment work. This experience gave him a deep appreciation for the structural challenges that make food systems uniquely difficult and uniquely important to get right.
Wilson’s passion for agriculture is rooted in his family’s history of farming in Minnesota and his love for the outdoors. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Outside of work, he is an avid cook, photographer, and traveler who finds inspiration in food cultures around the world and within Chicago’s neighborhoods.
