Heather McPherson
Vice President, Impact, S2G Ventures
Heather McPherson is the Vice President of Impact at S2G Ventures, where she leads S2G's impact measurement & management (IMM) and ESG practice. She joins S2G after supporting Builders Vision's integrated approach to IMM across the Builders Asset Management team, the Builders Initiative investment team, and S2G.
She previously worked at SJF Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in high-growth, positive impact companies driving a healthier, smarter, and cleaner future. At SJF, she focused on impact measurement, management, and acceleration initiatives across SJF's portfolio. Prior to SJF, she helped launch Impact Capital Managers (ICM), a network of private capital fund managers investing for impact and market-rate returns that now represents more than $80B in impact-focused capital. She previously helped launch Harvard Global Institute, a university-wide philanthropic initiative to fund innovative, interdisciplinary scholarship on pressing global issues such as climate change and public health, and started her career in international development.
Heather earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and graduated from Carleton College with a BA in English Literature.
